BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - If you’re headed to the polls for Alabama’s primary election on March 5, you will want to familiarize yourself with the sample ballots.
Alabama’s Secretary of State website has 2024 primary election sample ballots organized by county and political party.

Sample ballots are allowed inside polling places on election day which can help with the voting process.
Alabama’s Secretary of State Wes Allen is also encouraging voters to do their homework before heading to the polls on Super Tuesday, including making sure you know where to go vote.
“Do your research, and I would encourage all our viewers to go check [the Alabama Votes website],” Allen says. That’s the Secretary of State website that allows you to put in your name and address to verify where you will be voting.
All polls open at 7 a.m. and polls will close at 7 p.m.
